Zeynep holds a part-time position at Max Planck Law. She fulfils two distinct roles within the team, with responsibilities for Communications / PR and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. This dual capacity allows her to integrate external and internal communications and foster a comprehensive understanding of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) across the network.

Zeynep has been a researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Legal History and Legal Theory in Frankfurt since 2017, where she also manages the institute’s DEI affairs. Prior to her academic career, she practiced law in Istanbul for several years. She holds an LLM Eur with a specialization in European Economic Law and Foreign Trade.
