Academic Careers Outside Germany: A Roundtable with Max Planck Law Alumni

Join us for an online discussion with Max Planck Law Alumunis Holger Hestermeyer (King’s College London), Nandor Knust (UiT Tromsø) and Tatiana Tropina (Leiden University) to explore questions around academic careers outside Germany.

The three speakers will address topics such as what brought them to the country they are now working in, the formal and informal requirements for finding academic employment there, career and promotion prospects, and specificities of the local teaching and research environments. After their introductory remarks there will be ample time for questions and discussion.

The event will be hosted by Clara Rigoni of MPI-Freiburg and Anika Seemann of MPI-Munich (Social Law).
