European Regulation of Green Advertising

Join us for an insightful online lecture with a subsequent Q&A session on ‘European Regulation of “Green” Advertising’. This event will delve into the recent and significant European developments in regulating advertising practices for (allegedly) sustainable products and companies. A focal point will be the proposed Green Claims Directive, which aims to establish a clear framework for businesses making environmental claims. This topic is at the centre of attention in light of an upcoming decision by the German Federal Court of Justice (BGH).

The event will explore the implications of these recent developments for companies, providing a comprehensive overview of their potential impact on marketing practices across Europe. Additionally, it will analyse future regulatory approaches and enforcement in Germany and beyond. Attendees will gain valuable insights into the evolving landscape of green advertising regulation and the legal challenges and opportunities it presents for researchers and practitioners alike.
