In the framework of the new Max Planck Law Initiative ‘Decolonial Theory and Law‘, we are holding our first monthly reading group meeting on 24 January 2024. The aim of the meeting is to discuss a text on decolonial theory and law. Since this will be the first meeting and to ensure the inclusiveness of the group, the discussion will focus on a key text, the title of which will be announced in due course. Options on how to access the text will also be provided. The aim of the meeting will be to critically engage with the field of decolonial theory and jointly explore its applications to the field of law.
We warmly welcome researchers at all stages of their careers, from student assistants to senior researchers, regardless of their prior knowledge of the field of decolonial theory.
