Max Planck Law and the Institute of European and Comparative Law (IECL) at the University of Oxford Faculty of Law have an exchange programme that offers an outstanding opportunity for PhD students and postdoctoral researchers from both institutions to collaborate and deepen their legal research. This exchange programme allows up to two researchers from each side to spend two months at the partner institution.
The IECL, established in 1995, is one of the leading research institutions of its kind in the English-speaking world. It plays a pivotal role in teaching and research at Oxford, and its remit extends across many regions and legal systems globally.
This exchange builds on Max Planck Law’s established partnerships with Cambridge, Melbourne, Singapore, the European University Institute, and University College London. Applications are invited via our newsletter and social media channels, usually in January every year.
