Security and Law is a Max Planck Law Initiative that brings together early career scholars working on security issues from a legal and interdisciplinary perspective. The Initiative focuses on security in a broad sense, taking into account the impacts of globalization and digitalization on security as well as its multi-level regulation at the national, transnational, European and international levels. The main aim of the Initiative is to provide a forum to discuss research projects on security with peers and to exchange ideas on security-related topics and the variety of methodological approaches in the study of security in law. To this end, the Initiative regularly holds informal meetings, talks, and workshops.
