Media visibility has become an increasingly valuable asset for researchers. Many, however, perceive media presence as an additional burden alongside their academic work. This interactive workshop, offered by Die Wissenschaftlerinnen, combines research-based data and hands-on practice to help women researchers build their media presence with confidence. Participants will try a video format in a safe environment designed to strengthen their media presence and break down the hurdles that often stand in the way. A dedicated Q&A session offers room for discussion and to share personal experiences with peers. By the end of the workshop, participants leave with a concrete communication format tailored to their expertise, ready for media appearances, social media, or institutional communication. Those who wish may also have their video shared via the official ‘Die Wissenschaftlerinnen’ account to increase its reach with over 10,000 followers on social media platforms.
