Approaches to Legal Research 2026

All researchers, in particular new PhD students, are cordially invited to join us at the third Approaches to Legal Research programme at Harnack House in Berlin, 29–30 April 2026. Approaches to Legal Research comprise teaching sessions that aim to provide you with an awareness of a range of basic methods and perspectives that you will find useful in your current work and/or in your future academic research. The teaching sessions will be pitched at a level accessible to those new to the topics, although those already familiar with any of the approaches addressed will likewise benefit from the discussions. No prior reading will be necessary.

This is a unique opportunity to broaden your horizons as a researcher, no matter the stage you are at in your research.
